Ryan is originally from the greater-Boston area -- I began acting annually in educational summer musical theatre programs at age 10 and continued performing until I aged-out at 15 years old. I continued performing in community theatre and all the school musicals. I completed and performed in several summer intensives; (a 2-week summer musical theatre production experience (2 week rehearsal, 1 week tech experience for three shows: Shrek The Musical TYA (Shrek), Frozen jr. (Hans), Anything Goes (Lord Evelyn Oakleigh)) and BIO-NYC, a week-long intensive at Ripley-Grier studios in Manhattan with Scott Studios LLC; ran by Matthew Scott (he's a current Swing in Ragtime on Broadway)
I discovered my love for music at the ripe age of three when my talented grandpa played "Moonlight Sonata" on the piano in the family living room -- as all I could think was, he must be a magician and hold super powers to be able to create what he did. Pretty soon, I began to reach for the keys and began sounding-out Beethoven's "Ode To Joy" which my sister was formally practicing for her piano lessons. My parents immediately noticed my natural musical talent and signed me up for piano lessons at age 4, which I excelled in for some time. I also explored guitar and drum lessons, and began voice lessons at age 15. At age 10, I discovered my true passion; acting in musical theatre -- when I had the privilege and honor of performing in my first musical theatre show; Shrek The Musical.
